Congratulations to Natural Resources Management and Environmental Sciences Professor Chip Appel, Wine and Agribusiness Professor Marianne McGarry Wolf, and Agribusiness Adjunct Lecturer Doug Sawyer who were selected for the Poly Reps Terrance Harris Excellence in Mentorship Awards for the 2022-23 academic school year. The Poly Reps Mentorship Awards recognize Cal Poly staff, faculty and friends who have made a significant impact on a current Poly Rep. These awards are presented in honor of Terrance Harris, who is a former advisor of Poly Reps and now serves as Cal Poly’s vice president of strategic enrollment management.

Poly Rep students serve as University Ambassadors. They are voluntary public relations students who assist in the promotion of Cal Poly to prospective students and their parents, alumni, potential donors, and friends of the university. The Terrance Harris Excellence in Mentorship Awards enable Poly Reps to honor influential mentors who go above and beyond to support and encourage students to achieve their accomplishments.
