Agribusiness professor Lucy McGowan’s 450 Business Strategies course is collaborating with Food Science professor Amy Lammert’s FSN 408 Food Product Development course for product development project focused on pistachios for Meridian Growers, which is owned by Jim Zion, a member of the dean’s advisory board. Five separate teams, four students from each class, are working on developing a new product and the market analysis needed to successfully launch it. They will pitch these to Jim Zion, who may consider taking the product one step further.
