Graduate students Jason Dubowsky and Amelia Katz, advised by Associate Professor Julie Huzzey and Assistant Professor Zach McFarlane presented their research at the American Society of Animal Science annual conference in Calgary, Alberts, Canada in July. Dubowsky presented his work assessing beef cow grazing behavior during the breeding season using GPS collars at Cal Poly’s Escuela Ranch. Katz presented her research analyzing beef bull feeding behaviors and their relationship to feed efficiency at the Cal Poly Bull Test Program.
