The Cal Poly Latinos in Agriculture held the third annual “Empoderando Mujeres in Agriculture” on May 8 with panelists Angelica Aldana of Wonderful Citrus, Maya Paniagua of Golden State Farms Berries and Rebecca Sandoval of BrightView Landscapes. The panel discussion covered key issues impacting Latinx communities in the agriculture industry, uplifting women’s experiences in agriculture and offered a Q&A for attendees.
