Members of the Latinos in Agriculture Club traveled to Denver, Colorado, to participate in the MANRRS Region VI Cluster Nov. 1-2, competing in impromptu job interview and elevator speech competitions. Third-year agricultural science major Angeli Morales placed second in impromptu speaking and will represent Region VI at the MANRRS National Conference in April. In addition, fourth-year plant sciences major Nelson Najera placed third in the interview category. Second-year agricultural systems management major Angel Guerrero, third-year agricultural systems management major Angel Guerrero Nathan Botkin, Jairo Guerrero, and second-year plant sciences major Sofia Acosta were all pinned as new members.
