Summer Internships with Farmlink
The Farmlink Project offers summer internships for college students passionate about addressing issues in the food system. The internships are from June 2 through Aug. 8, and emphasize education, experiential learning and community building. There are three categories: the Food Program, Development and Sustainability interns. All internships are remote.
The Food Program interns work to build out Farmlink’s charitable network and advocate with charitable partners. Interns will become familiar with food systems, policy and regenerative agriculture.
The development intern ficuses on researching companies that align with Farmlink’s mission, fundraising and goals. Projects include creating and managing spreadsheets, calling donors and conducting research on companies to identify potential partnerships.
Sustainability interns conduct research and analyze tax benefits available to companies that donate food and money. The interns will also be responsible for compiling case studies, developing simulation models for forecast crop surplus, and utilizing GIS and data analysis software.
Applications open Monday, March 17.
