The Cal Poly Logging Team traveled to Fort Collins, Colorado for the annual Association of Western Forestry Clubs Logging Conclave. There were 190 competitors from 24 teams and 11 colleges and universities that attended.  Despite cold and snowy conditions,  Cal Poly Team A placed fourth overall. Agriculture systems management fourth-year Ben Holtzen placed fourth overall and Forest and Fire Science third-year Joe Carniglia placed sixth overall among the male competitors. The team is advised by Professors Samantha Gill and Jacqueline Rose.
